I have a giveaway for you guys today! Firmoo is offering up a free pair of glasses or sunglasses to one lucky person. They can be prescription or not, just whichever you need. I got mine with a prescription because my eyes suck, but they more often than not have orders for glasses without one. The pair they sent me for review I ended up liking even more than my current glasses surprisingly (and no I'm not just saying that). I never usually wear them out of the house but I'm thinking I might with these. By the way, yes I realize I'm totally bandwagoning on the nerdy glasses trend (and super late at that) but I like them so whatever. :)
I picked out these ones. Here's the full review if you're interested.
Apologies for the review being in video form, except actually that is probably awesome for you guys because then you don't have to watch it if you don't want to. haha,
k now let's get to the good stuff.
One winner will receive a free pair of Firmoo glasses of their choice.
To enter the giveaway you can either do one or both of the following:
(Please also make sure to include an email address in the case that you win):
1. Leave a comment telling me what one of your New Years Resolutions was for this year. That's it. No loops to jump through and no blogs to follow. (Yay!)
2. For a second entry, you can leave another comment telling me what the best part of your day was. I'm so nosy I know. haha I like hearing about people's days though for some reason.
The giveaway will run until 11:59 PM on Thursday, January 24, 2013.The winner will have 48 hours to respond until another winner is drawn. Good luck!
P.S. I am trying out a new blog layout/header/name so apologies for the awkward transitioning period. Hopefully within a few days everything will be worked out. Happy Thursday everyone!

Hi Haylee! Oh my gosh, this is an amazing giveaway! I would love to win a pair! My new Years Resolution is to meditate for 15 minutes a day and to save more money! Love you girl.
ReplyDeleteI love that! Where did you learn to meditate? I think that's so cool that you do that. Love you girl!
DeleteI've been practicing Jivamukti yoga since I was 3. It's just in my blood. :)
DeleteOh and Haylee, I love your new blog design!
DeleteAnd the best part of my day was waking up to fresh homemade waffles! :)
ReplyDeleteHaylee! I've missed talking to you--you are so cute--proof from the video above!
ReplyDeleteMy NYR is... (now don't laugh), to make and serve an 8 course meal. Which really means, 7 courses of water and 1 course of cereal, because lets be honest, I can't cook! but, i'm going to try to do it before my mission!
oh--and this blog face lift is so awesome. did you do it? wow! i love it!
Emily that's freaking awesome!! I seriously think that's so cool, you can invite me. :) ha no but I really think that's such a cool goal to have.
DeleteAlso WHY have we not hung out in all of these months that you have been at BYU? Seriously I'm really sad about that, when do you leave for your mission? Maybe we could get together for lunch or something before then.
Thanks for the comment on the layout by the way. I most definitely didn't do it myself (too intimidated to even try, haha) but I can't decide if I like it or not so I appreciated your comment. :) Good luck on the mission Emily! You're going to be so awesome out there.
I know right? what happened.....I leave on Jan. 30, and I have about 50 minutes to get from the airport to the MTC...but, if you are still kicking in Provo lets get together! seriously! i'm still dying to meet you and then you can sign the book that you publish for being so awesome!
DeleteYes--and I really like the design-its really great!
Oh wait so you're back home already then? Dang it, :( You need to come like 2 days earlier so we can hang out before you go into the MTC. ha for real though, and I think I need YOUR autograph. Not the other way around, I'm looking at the next chef extraordinaire right here! Seriously both your future companions and future husband are so freaking lucky! ha oh and just so you know if you ever need anyone to practice on for that 8-course meal, I'm your girl. :)
DeleteAnd....the best part of my day, well since i've only been up for an hour, but I'm working on my independent study class in my warm bed. And i love warmth. and I love beds. So thats probably it. :)
ReplyDeleteemail: elewis.byu@gmail.com
(Hope I WIN so i can try to look as cute as you do with those glasses!)
p.s thank you for only making us comment and not do all the loop hole stuff! you know how to do giveaways right!
I love the frames you chose. I have bought from firmoo before and loved my frames. I desperately need some rx sunglasses so I would be beside myself if I won!
ReplyDeleteOne of my resolutions is to go to bed by midnight. I have two little kids and staying up until 3 sewing pretty much destroys me. :)
Man I have no idea how you do that, staying up until 3 destroys me and I don't even have any kids! To say I was impressed would be an understatement.
DeleteAnd the best part of my day so far is that I have plans with my 3 year old to go feed the ducks. Which is always adorable.
ReplyDeleteAnd my email is lilysykora@gmail.com <3
ReplyDeleteAhh NYR! My goals are to sew all the basic foundation pieces for my dream wardrobe.. :) Adore your blog!!
ReplyDeletebuttyell@gmail.com
That is a BRILLIANT resolution. Oh my gosh can I copy you? ha really though, I need to do the same. I always get caught up in the more "fun" pieces to sew and severely ignore the basics. So I'm right there with you.
DeleteThank you!
Also my favorite part of today was finishing this amazing book before work. I felt accomplished before I even "started" my day!
ReplyDeletebuttyell@gmail.com
My resolution is to only thrift and/or sew my clothes this year! :)
ReplyDeleteladyrose94@gmail.com
Oh my gosh you are amazing. I wish I could say I could do that! Good luck, you should create a blog about it so we can follow you in your process. :)
DeleteAnd my favorite part of today . . . wearing the hand crocheted scarf my mom made me. <3
ReplyDeleteI loved the frames you choose! I think i definitely could switch up my wardrobe with a new pair! :)
ReplyDeleteNew Years Resolution: read 10 books!
lewis531@gmail.com
Right there with you girl! That was the first resolution I came up with too. I have a feeling it's not going to happen though, ha oh well, good luck!
DeleteAnd....my favorite part of the day: waking up to breakfast made by my husband!
ReplyDeleteOooh, this is a fun one!
ReplyDeleteOne of my resolutions this year is to lose 20 pounds after my baby is born! These glasses will help me achieve that.
(I kid)
SaraBell2010@yahoo.com
haha Sara I love you, this made me laugh out loud. :) (The glasses part, not the weight loss part. Just for the record, haha)
DeleteThe day is young... but so far I really enjoyed picking out a new book for my "blogger book swap" partner, so exciting! =]
ReplyDeleteSaraBell2010@yahoo.com
My daughter referred me to your blog! How fun, glasses! My new years resolution is to get to bed earlier and put more lotion on my hands!
ReplyDeletecvlewis@gmail.com
Well if your daughter is Emily by chance than I am beyond flattered because I think she is awesome. :) Thanks Sister Lewis!
DeleteAnd....my favorite part of today, was, this morning before everyone else woke up, I was able to ponder and read my scriptures.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness love the new glasses! They look really good on you! My new year's resolution was to finish the project I am working on BEFORE starting a new one. I'm surprised I have lasted this long.
ReplyDeleteBest part of my day today was the starbucks vanilla spice latte - lets just say it was a tough day.
ReplyDeleteLove this giveaway Haylee! My new years resolution is to have better content on my blog this year, as well as have guest bloggers contribute posts. Tiffany.Cho.Lu@gmail.com. Hope I win!
ReplyDeleteAnd the best part of my day today was having dinner with 4 close friends :)
ReplyDeleteHaylee, so glad you found my blog because now I can hang out at yours! I love those glasses. I've been pinning way too many glasses on Pinterest lately. Let's see...one new years resolution that I made is to take more video. I always take a bunch of pictures and not enough video, which stinks because i'm missing out on some pretty awesome moments. The best part of my day was watching my son drink green juice. He kept insisting to try it and I don't think he liked it. Can you say sour face? It was so funny. lauraegre@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteMy new years resolution is to get healthier.
ReplyDeletecelestialchic21@yahoo.com
One of my resolutions was to explore more!
ReplyDeleteI love the glasses, by the way. You should definitely wear them out of the house (:

ReplyDeleteI don't make resolutions, I just try to take small parts to accomplish my goal.
ReplyDeleteThe best part of my day so far has been LUNCH! Makes me feel like a kid at recess. *_~
ReplyDeleteOne of my NY resolutions was to give more of my time to DIY. I like it very much but mostly I prefer lazying on the couch and surfing the net! Awful
ReplyDeleteThe best part of my day was... when I ate up the whole tin of olives! I'm a little nervous about my next exam and this provokes an unbeliveable hunger! :)
ReplyDeletepinkmalice at mail dot ru
My resolution is to force myself to be a bit more spontaneous. I have issues being spontaneous and end up missing out on fun times. It's something I really need to improve especially because when Im on my own in the future and something "out of the expected" happens, I want to be able to handle it and not freak out, ha. So I have been making attempts to go out of my way to do things spontaneously :).
ReplyDeleteThe best part of my day would probably be english class because we all just sat around and talked about the book were reading. (Interpreter of Maladies, fantastic book by the way) All my friends are in that class and I am close with everyone, so we all joke around and it's just so fun and enjoyable. I am so social in that class and this one really awesome guy said Im his hero. It made me feel good and I was just so happy the entire class.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway! One of my New Years resolutions is to not buy new fabric. I think it's going to be hard, but asking for it for my birthday doesn't count ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd... the best part of my day was clearing out a bunch of old inventory at the nonprofit where I work. Also - the new design looks great!
ReplyDeleteBest part of my day, youngest dd crawling into bed with me and giving me lots of hugs and kisses!

ReplyDeleteThe worst part was when my youngest son threw up all over the frozen food aisle at the grocery store. It came on so quick.
